Recently, I had the unsurpassed honor of speaking with Captain James L. McCormick regarding a new exciting movie. The movie will be called "Blaze of Glory" and will exemplify the heroism and triumphs which were experienced by Captain McCormick and the 518th Gun Truck Company during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Needless to say, just to communicate with such a superhero was a true dream for me. Individuals like Captain McCormick were just what we had in mind when "Pap" McCollum and I, sat down and wrote the song "Conversation With A Soldier". I believe that this song needs to be heard, and the military needs to feel our patriotism and know how much their bravery is appreciated by all of us.
I am hoping that "Conversation With A Soldier" is indeed picked to represent the new and exciting movie, and I can't wait to see it!
